Photography and Art Note Cards

The note cards shown below are prints of what we like to refer to as "zen" art. Each painting or photograph was created taking a meditative focus on a specific person, animal, feeling, situation or place. The photographic prints are reflections on nature in all its glory. Regarding the paintings, without forcing a set design, the artist allows the subconscious to direct the brushwork and colors. In most cases, the orientation of the painting, chosen for display, is not the same as when painted, but chosen because it best showed the subconscious message in the painting.

Photography is my husband's and my form of meditation. Walking in nature or at zoos and connecting with the animals is a joy. But focusing through the lens to capture the personality of an animal requires clearing the mind and shutting down that inner dialogue.  Many of the animals in our photographs have come to know and recognize us and I hope that this connection comes through in these photographs.

Greeting Card size folded cards are 5" x 7". The smaller 4" x 5.5" note cards are being discontinued and are priced for clearance

Inside of notecards and greeting cards are blank. The greeting cards do have a description of the photo on the back of the card.
